What is a donor-advised fund (DAF)?

A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a philanthropic giving vehicle that provides an immediate tax benefit to you, and allows you to grant funds to charities of your choice.

How do I give through a donor-advised fund?

You can give in two ways:

  • You can recommend a gift by contacting your financial institution or foundation or by granting online (find yours below).

  • The grant will arrive at Bishop Lynch High School with only the fund’s name and address on it, unless you request otherwise.*

or
2. Contact your fund manager

  • Call your fund manager and recommend supporting Bishop Lynch High School, along with the amount of the grant.

  • Your fund manager will send a check directly to Bishop Lynch from your fund.*
