Student Leaders Train In Civil Discourse

Student Leaders Train In Civil Discourse

Members of the Bishop Lynch High School Belonging and Veritas Boards joined with student leaders from area private schools to participate in a civil discourse workshop on Friday, September 20. Facilitated by Close Up Foundation out of Washington, D.C., the day-long workshop hosted at The Hockaday School empowered students with tools to facilitate challenging discussions amongst their peers and serve as civic ambassadors in the public arena.

The BL Belonging and Veritas Boards are each comprised of student leaders trained to lead peers in a dialogue around complex topics, advise school administration on student issues, and promote the values of believing and belonging amongst the Bishop Lynch student body.
