State Fair Honors for Two Friars

State Fair Honors for Two Friars

When you visit this year’s State Fair of Texas, you may spot some familiar names next to the classic blue ribbons in the Creative Arts building.

Bishop Lynch Sophomore Elliott Guinnee entered a charcoal drawing that she created in Mr. Brown’s Introduction to Art Class last semester, receiving first place in her category. Senior Nathan Stuckey, who has been honing his photography skill for over five years, is no stranger to the Fair’s creative arts contests. This year, Nathan was awarded Best in Show for one of his photographs in addition to winning two first-place ribbons, two second-place ribbons, and an honorable mention. All of Elliott and Nathan’s artwork will be on display during the 2025 State Fair of Texas. Congratulations to these talented Friar artists!
