Senior Roberto Madrigales Achieves Eagle Scout Rank

Bishop Lynch High School is proud to recognize senior Roberto Madrigales for achieving the distinguished rank of Eagle Scout at his Court of Honor ceremony on October 12, 2025.

Several Bishop Lynch faculty and staff members joined Roberto’s family, friends, and fellow Scouts at the Court of Honor ceremony to celebrate this significant milestone.

Roberto has been a dedicated and engaged member of the Bishop Lynch community, participating in the marching band, bowling team, and previously the swimming team. His commitment to excellence and service is evident both in his contributions to the school community and throughout his Scouting journey. Roberto began his Scouting experience at the age of six with the Cub Scouts at St. Patrick Catholic Church and continued with Boy Scout Troop 719, where he has been an active member since 2019. Over the course of his Scouting career, he earned 36 merit badges, qualifying for three Eagle Palms—bronze, gold, and silver. Throughout his Scouting journey, Roberto has also been recognized with several religious awards, including the Light of Christ, Ad Altare Dei, and Pope Pius XII.

Roberto demonstrated exemplary leadership through his service as chaplain aide, phoenix patrol leader, and assistant senior patrol Leader, and he remains an active member of the Order of the Arrow Brotherhood. Among the highlights of his Scouting career was his participation in the Sea Base High Adventure, during which he earned certification in open-water scuba diving and assisted in coral reef restoration efforts in Miami. In total, Roberto completed 54 nights of camping and contributed 100 hours of community service.

For his Eagle Scout project, he designed, fundraised for, and led a team of 18 volunteers to construct an herb and vegetable garden at the St. Raphael Catholic Retreat Center.

Congratulations, Roberto, and thank you for your dedication to faith and servant leadership, which truly exemplifies the Dominican pillars of prayer, community, and service.
