This past weekend, two cast members from the Spring Musical, ROCK OF AGES: Teen Edition, performed in the Broadway Dallas High School Musical Theater Awards Ceremony at the Music Hall at Fair Park. Joseph Merchant, who was nominated for Outstanding Featured Performer, and Camryn Ross, a member of the Broadway Dallas Performance Ensemble, represented Bishop Lynch High School at the awards ceremony.
Senior Shannon Inman was a recipient of the Bobby Mahurin Theatre Ambassador Scholarship, which is awarded to an outstanding student who participates in the Broadway Dallas High School Musical Theatre Awards program and plans to pursue a college degree outside of the performing arts. Award recipients reflect on the skills gained through theater and how their performing arts experiences have shaped career goals.
