Merchant Recognized for Musical Performance
Bishop Lynch High School Sophomore Joseph Merchant was recently nominated as a Featured Performer for the 2026 Broadway Dallas High School Musical Theater Awards (HSMTA) for his role as The Mayor in Bishop Lynch's spring musical, ROCK OF AGES: Teen Edition. The awards recognize outstanding individual and school musical theatre performances throughout North Texas, and finalists will be announced at the 15th annual Broadway Dallas HSTMA Awards Show on May 2, 2026.
