English Teacher Maggie Raymond Featured in MLA-Published Teaching Text

This past weekend, English teacher Maggie Raymond attended the MLA Convention in Toronto where she celebrated the recent release of the MLA published text Approaches to Teaching the Works of Margaret Atwood in which she contributed a chapter entitled "Rethinking Archetypes in the High School Classroom with The Penelopiad."

Maggie has been a member of the Margaret Atwood Society since 2017 after completing her Master's thesis on some of Atwood's works. In addition to meeting her fellow contributors, Maggie also attended sessions on AI in the Writing Classroom, teaching adaptations and graphic novels, and recent research on the literature of Joseph Conrad, Margaret Atwood, and Jane Austen.
