Congratulations to Amy Wheeler, BLHS Educator of the Year

Bishop Lynch High School has nominated Amy Wheeler for the Diocese of Dallas Educator of the Year award. Mrs. Wheeler, who serves as the BL social studies department chair, is a passionate educator whose content-area expertise and instructional style instill in her students the knowledge and confidence they need to be successful at BL and beyond. 

The Bishop Lynch community also benefits tremendously from Mrs. Wheeler’s work with the College Board as an assistant chief reader and workshop consultant for the AP World: Modern exam. She equips our students and teachers with helpful insight into testing strategies and connects our broader Diocese of Dallas community to AP experts from across content areas.

Mrs. Wheeler is beloved by students and colleagues alike, and we congratulate her on being named BL’s Educator of the Year and our nominee for the Diocese of Dallas award. Way to go, Mrs. Wheeler!
