Bishop Lynch Women’s Swimming Wins Third Straight Title, Fourth in Program History

Dynasties echo through sports history in threes. The Bulls of the '90s. The Showtime Lakers. The Bronx Bombers. Greatness, repeated until it becomes inevitable.

Inside the Josh Davis Natatorium in San Antonio on Wednesday, the Bishop Lynch women added their own chapter to that legacy.

With a commanding 325-point performance at the TAPPS 6A State Championship, finishing 81 points ahead of second-place Ursuline Academy, the Friars captured their third consecutive state title and fourth since 2022. Bishop Lynch reached the podium in seven of eleven events, highlighted by gold in the 200-yard Medley Relay, further cementing its place among the state's elite programs.
