Tramanh Trinh has been named valedictorian for the Bishop Lynch High School Class of 2024. Audrey Reed has been named the class salutatorian. Tramanh and Audrey will each give an address during the Bishop Lynch commencement ceremony on May 19.
In addition to her academic achievements, Tramanh is a BL Ambassador and serves as the secretary for both Mu Alpha Theta and National Science Honor Society. She is also a member of the Asian American Culture Club, Best Buddies, and Coding Club. Tramanh will attend the University of Texas at Dallas, and she plans to major in computer science.
Audrey is a four-year-member of BL Cheer serving as JV co-captain her sophomore year and has played tennis and lacrosse for the Friars. She is currently the social media coordinator for Best Buddies, Aquinas House chaplain, National Honor Society communications director, and a team lead for the Ambassadors.
Audrey will be attending Wake Forest University to study communications and health & exercise science.
BL Principal Dr. Chad Riley expressed his enthusiasm for these students’ achievements when he notified them of their selection earlier this month alongside members of the guidance department.
“Amidst their challenging academic journeys, Tramanh and Audrey also dedicated themselves to strengthening our BL community beyond the classroom,” said Dr. Riley. “We are very proud of these students’ dedication to our Dominican heritage of both scholarship and service.”
Congratulations to these two outstanding scholars for their achievements in the classroom and beyond!
