Bishop Lynch Names Class of 2025 Top Scholars

Bishop Lynch High School is proud to announce the senior students whose academic records have earned the highest honors. The Class of 2025 celebrates Valedictorian Sydney Frazure and Salutatorian William “Liam” Montgomery, III. Through their impressive scholastic accomplishments coupled with their involvement and leadership beyond the classroom, Sydney and Liam model the mission of Bishop Lynch for their peers and for the community.

Sydney Frazure, Valedictorian
In addition to her academic achievements, Sydney has been a member of the tennis, cross country, and track teams since her freshman year. She currently serves as the president of the French National Honor Society and as an officer for the National Honor Society. Sydney’s involvement extends to several other academic societies, including Mu Alpha Theta Honor Society, the Science National Honor Society, and Rho Kappa National Social Studies Honor Society. She is a graduate of Lake Highlands Junior High School and a member of De Porres House.

Sydney will attend Northwestern University, where she plans to major in civil engineering.

Liam Montgomery, Salutatorian
Liam’s investment in academics extends from the classroom to his participation in the TAPPS Academic competition, as well as his membership with the Latin National Honor Society, Mu Alpha Theta Honor Society, National Honor Society, National English Honor Society, Rho Kappa National Social Studies Honor Society, and the Science National Honor Society. Liam became an Eagle Scout in November 2023 and remains committed to service through volunteering on his church’s video production team and summer mission trips to Costa Rica, traveling with Youth With A Mission (YWAM). He is a graduate of The Winston School and a member of Angelico House.

Liam is undecided on where he will continue his educational career and plans to study engineering.

This incredible achievement is the culmination of years of discipline, commitment, and focus, not to mention the support of a community of family, friends, and educators. Congratulations, Sydney and Liam- your Friar family celebrates with you!
