A Week of Engaged Learning and Friar Pride

A Week of Engaged Learning and Friar Pride

Last week was filled with exciting and enriching learning opportunities at Bishop Lynch! Students were inducted into several national honor societies, recognizing their achievements across disciplines — the National Honor Society and National English Honor Society on Wednesday, and the National Art Honor Society on Thursday, featuring guest speaker Anna Huntress ’17, a painter, designer, and now BL’s own graphic designer.

Throughout the week, Friars also enjoyed cultural and spiritual enrichment opportunities. National French Week brought a taste of French culture to campus, including a popular cheese tasting fundraiser supporting the French Club. In honor of National Vocation Awareness Week, Campus Ministry hosted members of several religious communities, including Dominican Friars from the St. Albert the Great Priory in Irving, who shared their experiences of faith and service.

From academic excellence to cultural discovery and spiritual growth, it was a true celebration of the Bishop Lynch experience!
