A Summer of Growth, Leadership, and Service

As summer winds down, Bishop Lynch students have been making the most of their break by growing their talents, strengthening their leadership skills, and serving others. This June, senior Band Drum Major Linda Garcia, junior Assistant Drum Major Christian Perez, senior Field Captain Brenden Evans, and senior Woodwind Captain Sophia Ulhaq attended UT Arlington’s High School Drum Major and Leadership Camp, where they honed their conducting, marching, and leadership abilities alongside students from across Texas. 

Meanwhile, senior Choir Student Director Ethan Moore and sophomore choir members Emily Duke and Aubrey McGuire participated in the All-State Choir Camp at Dallas Baptist University, refining their vocal skills through clinics, rehearsals, and private instruction before concluding the week with a performance in Pilgrim Chapel.

Several Bishop Lynch students also spent part of their summer on the Diocese of Dallas Youth Mission Trip to Costa Rica, where they partnered with local communities through service projects, prayer, and fellowship, deepening their faith and forming meaningful connections.
