Nine Student-Athletes Headed to the Next Level
  • Congratulations to these nine Bishop Lynch student-athletes on signing to play and continue their academic career at the next level. Bishop Lynch had a ceremony this morning to celebrate Cash Carpenter, Mikah Ford, Rahim Glee, Paloma Gonzalez, Adriana Medina, Xavier Perdomo, Ellery Sample, JT Santos, and Gene Tremblay.

Bishop Lynch Names Top Scholars for Class of 2024

Tramanh Trinh has been named valedictorian for the Bishop Lynch High School Class of 2024. Audrey Reed has been named the class salutatorian. Tramanh and Audrey will each give an address during the Bishop Lynch commencement ceremony on May 19.

Maisie Swift Soars with Appointment to Air Force Academy

Senior Maisie Swift was pleasantly surprised earlier this week by a phone call from Congressman Colin Allred. After completing a rigorous application process which included securing a nomination from Rep. Allred, Swift stands among a top-tier group of approximately 1,400 young people who have earned an appointment to the prestigious United States Air Force Academy.

Black & White Gala Honors Legacy and Celebrates Future Friars

The Friar family filled the Anatole on Saturday evening for more than just the fabulous live auction items and an exhilarating performance from Emerald City. In donning their best black & white attire and dancing shoes, Legacy Gala attendees had a singular focus- to raise needed funds for student scholarships.

Preaching the Gospel: Dominican Pillar of Service

One of the mottos of the Dominican Order, where we find our heritage at Bishop Lynch, is Contemplare et contemplata aliis tradere, meaning “to contemplate and to give to others the fruits of our contemplation.” This motto is often attributed to St. Thomas Aquinas, and is at the heart of our Heart of St. Dominic Christian Service program.
