  • Bishop Lynch Prom 2018

The 2018 Bishop Lynch High School junior and senior prom was held at the Perot Museum on Saturday, April 14th. The students were able to come together for a fun night out of dancing, singing and exploring the museum and were greeted by BL Live guest correspondents Darrin Hedges and Bill Storey for a quick red carpet interview that was played on Across Campus this week.

After eating a great meal and lot of dancing, the most anticipated part of the night arrived - the announcement of the prom king and queen.

The 2018 Bishop Lynch Prom King and Queen are Presley Luce and Adriana Acuna!

Thank you for everyone who volunteered and helped to make this night so special for the juniors and seniors!

  • Employee of the Month – Cody Norris

Once a month, Bishop Lynch elects a “Staffulty” member who has gone above and beyond their duties for Employee of the Month. Faculty and staff submit who they think is most deserving and the member with the most votes gets the award.

For the month of April, Bishop Lynch has awarded Cody Norris this honor. Cody teaches physics to sophomores and juniors. Not only is he a huge mentor for his students, but he is also one for his fellow colleagues, “He has had a tremendous impact on his colleagues because he asks his students to write thank you letter to their teachers once a year and that always brightens my day”.

If you have ever seen Cody on campus, you might notice how he is a very quiet person, but as one of his fellow staffulty members mentioned, “His actions should be mentioned on a megaphone, I need him to know how much he is appreciated and how highly we think of him”. Cody not only takes time to make sure all the students are succeeding, but that they are all doing well in and out of the classroom, “He is overall just a great person who is truly dedicated to his profession and to his students. We are lucky to have him”.

Please join us in congratulating Cody Norris on winning the Employee of the Month for April 2018!
