Dani Lopez-Balderas, a Bishop Lynch High School junior and member of de Porres House, has been selected as the school’s nominee for The Catholic Foundation’s Hal Tehan Scholar Award. Entries are based on a student’s academic achievement, community and church involvement, leadership, and an essay that illustrates what their Catholic education means to them.

Janelle Finley and Tramanh Trinh, both BL juniors, were recognized as Bishop Lynch runners-up for the scholar award nomination.

The Hal Tehan Scholar Award will be presented by The Catholic Foundation in early 2023. Congratulations to Dani on this prestigious nomination!
