Four Friars Participate in Prestigious Perry Initiative

Bishop Lynch High School students Mariah Cornelio, Katelyn Edgar, Avery McKnight, and Tapasya Ranka participated in a full-day medical workshop on Dec. 11 for the Perry Initiative Program. The program hosts young women in high school that are interested in medical careers. The students performed mock orthopedic surgeries, conducted biomechanical engineering and were able to hear from women surgeons and medical students about the study, profession and life of someone pursuing medicine.
