Coach Zihlman Participates in WBCA Listening Session Hosted by the White House
Representatives of the Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA), including Bishop Lynch High School Head Women’s Basketball Coach Andy Zihlman, recently participated in a virtual listening session on women’s sports hosted by the White House Gender Policy Council. The purpose of the listening session was to ensure the challenges and needs of female athletes are integrated into the council’s government-wide strategy to advance gender equity and equality in both domestic and foreign policy.
Coach Zihlman joined other WBCA representatives like Muffet McGraw, retired head women’s basketball coach at the University of Notre Dame; Dawn Staley, head women’s basketball coach at the University of South Carolina; and Cori Close, head women’s basketball coach at the University of California, Los Angeles.
Congratulations to Coach Zihlman for his leadership in this prestigious event!
