Jeff Miller - Class of 1985

Jeff Miller grew up in a Bishop Lynch family. His four older siblings all attended and graduated from Bishop Lynch. Consequently, he does not remember a time in his life when he did not know about Bishop Lynch High School. After graduation as part of the Class of 1985, he continued his education at Texas A&M University, receiving a degree in History. He furthered his love for learning when he earned an MBA at the University of Texas at Dallas and then a Master’s degree in History at the University of North Texas.

Jeff has spent 30 years in the Legal profession, working in several different capacities, and is currently the Legal Operations Manager for PSN Affiliates, a healthcare company based in Plano.

From his Senior Service project in 1985 to the present, Jeff has discovered a passion for helping others. While at Texas A&M, he and a friend coached a youth baseball team for two years and he discovered a love for teaching others to learn the game that he has enjoyed for so many years.  To him, the most rewarding aspect was watching them become young men and appreciate the sportsmanship of the game.

Since then, Jeff has given his time and talent to help others, whether it is volunteering at a food bank or working with colleagues to wrap presents for children during the holidays, Jeff is committed to service.  In addition, he is committed to Bishop Lynch High School, having been a part of the Bishop Lynch Alumni Association Board of Advisors for many years, serving as President for 5 years.

Today, Jeff is a member of the leadership council for the Richardson, Texas location of Feed My Starving Children, a faith-based organization dedicated to providing nutritious meals for children worldwide that might otherwise go hungry.  This is truly an incredible organization, devoted to the fight against hunger.

Jeff and his wife Lisa live in Fairview, Texas, with their dogs Stella and Molly.  To this day, Jeff is still a baseball fan and takes trips each summer to visit baseball parks with friends that he has known since his days at Good Shepherd in Garland.
