BL Senior Seeks Shoe Donations for Eagle Scout Project

Bishop Lynch High School Senior Matthew Polak is organizing a shoe drive for Austin Street Center clients as part of his Eagle Scout project. Austin Street Center is in downtown Dallas and provides safe shelter and services to some of the city’s most vulnerable homeless. Matthew’s Eagle Scout project aims to collect tennis shoes (new or gently used) and new socks to help address the basic needs of our homeless neighbors. A large donation box will be in the atrium Aug. 23-30 for any BL community member who would like to participate in this worthwhile cause. Way to go, Matthew!
