Change in Christian Service Program for 2021-2022 School Year

Service is a hallmark of Bishop Lynch High School’s total formational experience, and it is one of BL’s four Dominican pillars. To more fully infuse Christian service into campus life and better align it to our school’s mission, Bishop Lynch is removing the quarterly Christian service requirement for students and unveiling The Heart of St. Dominic Christian Service Program.
This robust opt-in program will encourage students to perform meaningful and sustained service that is close to their hearts. The program will provide several incentives for students to make a positive impact throughout the wider community. In addition, there will be even more opportunities for students to participate in community service projects during the school day.
Stay tuned for a detailed email in the coming weeks! Students will also receive information about The Heart of St. Dominic Christian Service Program during theology classes in August.
Faithful to Catholic Tradition and to our Dominican heritage of scholarship and service, Bishop Lynch High School promotes the development of the total person by bringing together a diverse community in a rigorous, college preparatory environment where students are taught to strive for excellence, seek truth, and work for justice in the world. - Founded in 1963
