Friar Senior Earns Eagle Scout Rank

Jake Westerman, a Bishop Lynch High School senior, earned his Eagle Scout rank this summer from Scouts BSA. He is a member of Troop 728 at St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Richardson. Jake received various awards, earned merit badges and held several leadership positions throughout his scouting experience. He is currently serving as Junior Assistant Scout Master. Jake’s Eagle Scout project involved renovating the landscape for the Sisters of the Holy Family of Nazareth’s Discernment House. Jake’s many responsibilities included documentation, plan approval, volunteer recruitment, wall and large stone removal, new material acquisition, and beautification. Congratulations Jake!
