Homecoming Week Roundup

Themed Dress-up Days
It’s Homecoming Week for Bishop Lynch High School, and that signature Friar spirit is on full display with themed dress-up days. Today our star students and staffulty are decked out as Hollywood movie characters. Friday, Oct. 16 is designated for black-and-white attire and students may wear their mums and garters to class. Thank you to all participating Friars for infusing Homecoming Week with fun!

Homecoming T-shirts on Sale
Homecoming T-shirts will be available for sale next week for only $7 each. T-shirt sales will be held in the BL House System office (the corner office down from the BL Bistro).

Alumni Virtual Homecoming
Bishop Lynch High School’s Office of Alumni has conducted a virtual Homecoming for our 11,000 Forever Friars this week in lieu of in-person events. The special week kicked off on Sunday with a virtual Mass celebrated by Father Edwin Leonard in the St. Catherine of Siena Chapel. Each day this week, there is a video slideshow email dedicated to a different decade. Our alumni are loving these old yearbook photo blasts from the past. Virtual Homecoming will conclude with a videotaped guided tour of campus led by BL student leaders. We love our BL alumni!
Faithful to Catholic Tradition and to our Dominican heritage of scholarship and service, Bishop Lynch High School promotes the development of the total person by bringing together a diverse community in a rigorous, college preparatory environment where students are taught to strive for excellence, seek truth, and work for justice in the world. - Founded in 1963
