House System Leaders Take Part in National Institute

Earlier this week, Bishop Lynch High School deans and mentors participated in the 2020 House System Institute Virtual Symposium hosted by O’Dea High School in Seattle, Washington. In all, 50 schools attended the virtual event. Bishop Lynch’s own Lima House Dean Rachele Piazza served as a panelist and offered best practices regarding house activities and student involvement.
With sessions on distributed leadership, engaging all students, virtual team-building activities and competitions, and using technology to develop school connectedness, Friar leaders will be ready to kick off the second year of the BL House System this August!
Faithful to Catholic Tradition and to our Dominican heritage of scholarship and service, Bishop Lynch High School promotes the development of the total person by bringing together a diverse community in a rigorous, college preparatory environment where students are taught to strive for excellence, seek truth, and work for justice in the world. - Founded in 1963
