On Air: BL Staff Share Expertise on Live Radio Show

Bishop Lynch High School’s Director of Guidance Raquel McKinney and School Nurse Patty Barton spoke live on The Mental Health Moment segment on KBDT 1160 AM’s morning program earlier this week. The two were interviewed by Steve Dunn, founder of The Morgan Foundation, and Patti Geolat, founder of the Something for Kelly Foundation, about mental health challenges encountered by high school students. They also had the opportunity to speak about the BL House System and the impact it has had on our school community in this inaugural year.
In a fun coincidence, the producer of KBDT’s morning programming is Kristy Brown Cisneros, a BL graduate from the Class of 1995! Congrats to Ms. McKinney and Mrs. Barton for being asked to share their mental health expertise.
