Leyden Lecture Series Brings the Monuments Men Foundation to Campus

The first Leyden Lecture Series of 2020 kicks off Jan. 28 with a presentation by Anna Bottinelli, president of the Monuments Men Foundation. The Monuments Men Foundation honors the legacy of the men and women who served in the Monuments, Fine Arts and Archives section, and their unprecedented and heroic work protecting civilization’s most important artistic and cultural treasures from armed conflict during World War II. If you’ve seen the 2014 film Monuments Men starring George Clooney and Matt Damon, you may be familiar with this organization’s work.
The presentation will be held at 4 p.m. Jan. 28 in the McGonigle Theatre. The event is free and open to the entire BL community.
