Celebrating Our Hispanic Heritage with BL’s Maritza Fierro

In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, we’re featuring some of our fabulous Bishop Lynch High School Latino staffulty. Meet Maritza Fierro, associate director of admissions. As a bilingual speaker, Mrs. Fierro promotes Bishop Lynch to Spanish-speaking families on campus tours and even on Spanish radio. With her work as the school’s mission trip coordinator, she has traveled to many Latin countries including Costa Rica, Ecuador, Honduras, and Nicaragua. Mrs. Fierro is the daughter of Mexican immigrants and she’s a lifelong parishioner at Cathedral Guadalupe. Her favorite part about her Hispanic heritage is the lively culture, the importance of family and faith, the music, and Mexican cuisine. Mrs. Fierro is just as vibrant as the Latino culture she loves, and we’re so pleased she’s a member of our Bishop Lynch staffulty!
