Deacon Bill Fobes Retires After 15 Years of Service

Bishop Lynch High School would like to extend a big thank you and best wishes to Deacon Bill Fobes on his retirement. After nearly 15 years at Bishop Lynch, Deacon Fobes will be retiring as BL’s Director of Mission Effectiveness and Campus Ministry. During his tenure, he has taught senior theology – Catholic Social Teaching and a world religions elective. As campus minister, he coordinated the liturgical life of the school and lead the retreat efforts for every class. Some other highlights of Deacon Fobes’ work at BL include championing the development and implementation of the school’s strategic plan and helping organize the BL MobilePack single-day of service that assembles 150,000 meals.
Deacon Fobes is a deacon at St. Rita Catholic Church and he also plans to continue his ministry at St. Jude’s Center, which provides senior long-term housing for the homeless. Thank you for your service and blessings to your next chapter!
