BL Nativity Set from Early 1960s Discovered

Bishop Lynch High School has a long and proud history of Catholic education. That’s why it was so special when BL Director of Facilities McKay Braithwaite discovered a Christmas crèche from the early 1960s in its original packaging in a remote niche of the school’s boiler room. The handmade Italian ANRI nativity starter set even includes a music box feature in the stable. This beautiful crèche is now displayed in the Advancement reception suite just inside the main school entrance. To enhance the display, BL art teacher Frank Brown created a gorgeous nighttime background painting. Stop by for a look!
