  • J. Brian Walter - Class of 1981

    J. Brian Walter is a member of the Bishop Lynch graduating class of 1981. He continued his education at Texas A&M University and the University of Dallas, receiving a degree in petroleum engineering and a master of business administration, respectively. Brian has worked with his family’s oil exploration companies since 1985 while maintaining a model of ethical business practices and philanthropy. In 1988, his vision of future technology manifested itself when he formed a software development partnership with two of his college classmates to write and sell petroleum engineering evaluation software.

  • Harold T. “Tim” Mathews, MAJ, USA (Ret.) - Class of 1987

    Harold T. “Tim” Mathews, MAJ, USA (Ret.) is a sterling example of a faithful, caring and dedicated Bishop Lynch alumni. Tim graduated from Bishop Lynch in 1987. He enlisted in the U.S. Army (April 1986) to attend basic training at Ft. Sill, OK during the summer before his senior year when he was 17 years old! He retired as a Major after 32 years of honorable service in the U.S. Army/Army Reserves.
