Bishop Lynch’s extensive mathematics opportunities add up to student success! With essentials, regular, honors, and advanced (AP) course levels, BL offers the perfect math path for every student.
Seven math courses offer dual enrollment with local community colleges so students can earn college credit while on the BL campus. Plus, BL is the only high school in Dallas that offers calculus III and linear algebra!
BL’s new Math Success Center is open daily and staffed by an instructor who’s taught every math class at the school. This fabulous resource is available to all students.
Another student math resource is Mu Alpha Theta, a national mathematics honor society. BL’s Mu Alpha Theta Chapter sponsors more than 30 competitions each year for math-savvy students. BL students also share their math skills with middle school students through a tutoring outreach partnership with St. Philip & St. Augustine Catholic Academy in Dallas.
