Alumni of the Year

Since 1990 the Bishop Lynch Alumni Association has recognized those graduates who have embodied the Bishop Lynch tradition and Dominican heritage of service to the community. The Alumni of the Year should show a commitment to the school and its missions and should serve as a model to all of what Christ has called us to become.

The criteria for the Alumnus of the Year Award include excellence in the following areas:

  • Service to Bishop Lynch High School
  • Service to the community
  • Success in his/her chosen field

  • Jeff Miller - Class of 1985

    Jeff Miller grew up in a Bishop Lynch family. His four older siblings all attended and graduated from Bishop Lynch. Consequently, he does not remember a time in his life when he did not know about Bishop Lynch High School. After graduation as part of the Class of 1985, he continued his education at Texas A&M University, receiving a degree in History. He furthered his love for learning when he earned an MBA at the University of Texas at Dallas and then a Master’s degree in History at the University of North Texas.

  • Jerry Cadigan - Class of 1969

    Jerry Cadigan is a proud member of the Bishop Lynch Class of 1969. His connection to the BL community extends back beyond his four years as a Bishop Lynch student. Jerry was a member of the St Pius X eighth grade that attended class on the BL campus from 1964-1965. After graduating from Bishop Lynch, Jerry attended SMU and majored in television production. He graduated with honors earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in 1973.
