Since 1990 the Bishop Lynch Alumni Association has recognized those graduates who have embodied the Bishop Lynch tradition and Dominican heritage of service to the community. The Alumni of the Year should show a commitment to the school and its missions and should serve as a model to all of what Christ has called us to become.

PAUL DYBALA, PH.D. '89
2023 alumni of the year
Please join us in congratulating Paul Dybala, Ph.D. '89 as our 2023 Alumni of the Year Recipient!
Dr. Paul Dybala ‘89 saw the World Wide Web for the first time in 1994 as a senior in college. After earning a MS and PhD in audiology, he got involved in hearing care startups and has not looked back. Dr. Dybala helped build the first and largest online continuing education platform for the audiology profession, audiologyonline.com, as well as the leading hearing care information site for consumers, healthyhearing.com, impacting the lives of millions of visitors each year. Dr. Dybala currently serves as a partner and vice president of strategy for AudiologyDesign, the premier provider of digital marketing for hearing clinics in the US serving over 1,300 locations.
Dr. Dybala feels lucky to be able to send his kids to Bishop Lynch and has supported them and the school by serving as a school board member, being the unofficial BL band “Hype Man” as well as, together with his wife Kelly, establishing two endowed scholarships to support the Fine Arts at Bishop Lynch.
