Leading the Way: BYOD

Bishop Lynch High School is a "BYOD" school. The “BYOD" (Bring Your Own Device) program furthers our mission to help students be ready for college and the world beyond. We will take advantage of the enormous power of technology by ensuring that it is in the hands of every student.

With this program, we will be offering the Microsoft 365 suite.  This will provide each student with downloadable and web app versions of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, Excel, and a whopping 1 TB (terrabyte) of online storage using OneDrive.  Web apps work while the computer is connected to the Internet.  These programs can also be installed on your computer.  This program is available to BL students at no additional cost.

What are Office Web Apps?  Here is an overview from Microsoft: http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/web-apps/

If you still have questions about what kind of laptop you need, basically, a modern Windows or Mac with a sufficiently large hard disk will do!
