Follow the steps below if you are a new family or employee to BLHS or have never completed the Diocese of Dallas Safe Environment Program.
Please keep in mind that all steps must be completed BEFORE you can volunteer and receive an ID badge.
Step 1: Complete and submit the Screening Form. Be sure to provide email addresses and phone numbers for your references.
Step 2: Attend the online training and complete the 25-question exam. You will receive a certificate upon successful completion of the training. For planning purposes, the training will take approximately 90 minutes (about 1 and a half hours) to complete.
Follow the instructions below to access the training module
- Login to the Safe Environment Program
- Login using your first name, last name, and street address
- Click on My Obligations (located in the menu bar at the top of page)
- Select Standard Sexual Abuse Training (MinistrySafe) (located just below the list of classes you are required to take)
Step 3: Schedule and complete the face-to-face interview with the primary contact for the volunteer position/hiring manager.
Step 4: Email a recent headshot to j.leigh@bishoplynch.org when all the above steps are completed. Your training will be verified and then an ID badge will be issued.
