Heart Screenings offered at BL
Heart Screenings will be offered again at Bishop Lynch High School on October 14 from 1-3PM. Heart screenings are not a requirement, however we are happy to offer this service to our students. We have teamed up with “Who We Play For,” formerly known as Cypress ECG Project, who provides these screenings for $15 per student. See flyers and consent forms below. Booster Club Meeting
The Monthly General Meeting of the Bishop Lynch Athletic booster club will be held on Monday October 5th in the BL Bistro. Please join us to find out about all things athletic! Hope to see you there!
Friars Golf Update
Congratulations to Team BL for winning the Bishop Farrell Golf Tournament Monday at TPC Las Colinas. The team that consisted of Bishop Lynch President Chris Rebuck, Boy's Golf Coach Barry Knott, 2010 BL Alumn Amy Ruengmateekhun, and 2011 BL Alumn Erin Barrington shot a very impressive score of 16 under par. Way to represent the Bishop Lynch community with your 1st place finish in the Diocese of Dallas' major scholarship fundraiser of the year!
Middle School Night for Football - October 23
Middle School night for football will be on October, 23rd against Bishop Dunne! If you have a middle school child is grades 5-8 and they would like to participate in the Punt, Pass and Kick competition, Please be here by 5:45pm! All students are welcome to join in and cheer on the Friars! Participation is not required to attend the game. If you would just like to come for the game, they with kick off at 7:30pm. Middle School Night for Volleyball - October 8
On October 8th Bishop Lynch volleyball is having volleyball middle school night. Admission for all kids is free and they will be issued a pass that night for admissions. Freshman and JV play at 5pm and Varsity will follow at 6 pm. If you would like to join, please email your RVSP to Josh.Kreuter@BishopLynch.org. Thank you and we look forward to having you there!

Athletically, Bishop Lynch High School is second to none, fielding teams in every major sport and earning district and state titles many times over. The Bishop Lynch Friars are known throughout the city and state as excellent athletes, fair competitors, and champions both on and off the field.
Bishop Lynch is a member of TAPPS - the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools - and competes under that jurisdiction. The TAPPS All-Around Trophy is presented annually to the school that has earned the top combined score in all disciplines - athletics, academics, and the arts. Bishop Lynch has earned the award consecutively more than any other school in Texas.
