ATHLETIC INFORMATION AND HEADLINES
Pre- Participation Physicals
All athletes are required to have a physical exam every year prior to participating in athletics at Bishop Lynch HS. The TAPPS Medical History and Physical Examination forms are the only physicals that will be recognized. No athlete will be allowed to practice or play without these forms turned in to and verified by the Head Athletic Trainer. Physicals and medical histories should be handed to the Athletic Training staff in the Field House Athletic Training Room or emailed (PDF file) to email@example.com.

Athletic Physical Packet Due Dates
All physicals forms should be turned in no later than July 21. Online forms will be available June 1.
ImPACT Neurocognitive Baseline Testing
All Athletes are required to complete a baseline ImPACT test. This is a new requirement for some of the “non-contact sports.” This should be completed by July 21 or the athlete will be ineligible until completed. $10 debited from MKS account in August. ImPACT testing will be offered on the following dates from 3-6 p.m. in Room 135 (accessed through the Legacy Gym):
Athletic Training Room Hours
The Athletic Training Room will be open during the summer on days that Bishop Lynch is open from 8-4 p.m. Times outside of this are by appointment. Please reach out to one of the Athletic Trainers if your son/daughter suffers an injury and utilize our resources over the summer.

Bishop Lynch is a member of TAPPS - the Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools - and competes under that jurisdiction. The TAPPS All-Around Trophy is presented annually to the school that has earned the top combined score in all disciplines - athletics, academics, and the arts. Bishop Lynch has earned the award consecutively more than any other school in Texas.
