The boys will begin first with their semifinal game Thursday at 6 p.m. The girls’ semifinal will be played Friday at 6 p.m.  The boys’ final is Friday at 5 p.m., while the girls’ final is Saturday at 5 p.m. The bracket for both tournaments is attached.


The boys’ tournament takes place at Abilene Christian University (1600 Campus Ct., Abilene, 79601) and the girls’ tournament is minutes away at McMurry University (1400 Sayles Blvd., Abilene, 79605).


Tickets are sold at the arenas for $10 (adult) and $5 (student and seniors). TABC and TAPPS state passes (white) will be accepted. TAPPS district passes (pink) will not be accepted.


All tournament games will be available for live streaming via the NFHS Network. This is a pay site, and the fee is $10. The link to watch is

BL students are asked to sit behind our team bench during all contests. The boys will be the HOME team Thursday and the girls will be the VISITING team Friday. Info on tournament finals (home/away) will be posted via Twitter.


Let’s take our BL pride on the road this weekend and BLACK OUT every game we can. Be sure to bring all of your black BL gear and make as much noise as possible for our teams as they attempt to #SweepState.
