No football game is complete without a good pregame show, and we’re bringing that very thing to you Friday at 6:30 with the premiere of FRIAR GAMEDAY LIVE!!
BL seniors Trey Thomas and Hannah Eboagu — along with Cliff Gibson, BL’s sports information director — are ready to bring you a fun and informative show to help get your football mindset right before the game.
The show will include interviews with BL coaches and athletes, a look at the night’s opponent and of course — the MASCOT HEADGEAR PREDICTION!!
It all starts at 6:30 pm in Friar Plaza and will be broadcast LIVE on the Periscope app. So, bring your friends, bring your GAMEDAY SIGNS, and get ready for FRIAR GAMEDAY LIVE!
Friars make statement, trade punches with top-ranked Dunne
If Bishop Dunne is the best team TAPPS has to offer — as the statewide rankings indicate — the Bishop Lynch Friars aren't far behind.
That much was made clear Friday as the Friars (2-2, 0-1) fell just short against the top-ranked Bishop Dunne Falcons (3-1, 1-0) by a 28-21 margin at Bishop Dunne High School.

Friar runners hit the trail in Ennis
The cross-country runners from Bishop Lynch High School competed at Ennis on Saturday for the Lions Den Invitational at Jaycee Park.
Joseph McDonald (18:02.00) picked up the best varsity finish for BL, taking eighth place. Ryan Shaeffer was 16th and Lucas Herrmann was 37thto round out the varsity boys' finishers in the Top 50.

BL takes first and second at KOC Invitational
The Bishop Lynch AquaFriars hosted Jesuit, Ursuline, John Paul II, and Nolan in the Knights of Columbus Invitational on Saturday.
The Lady Friars won the meet, scoring 85 points to 78 for Ursuline, 39 for JP2 and 33 for Nolan.
