February 25, 2010-- Becky Wallander commits to play at Southern Methodist University
On Thursday, February 25, senior Becky Wallander committed to play volleyball at SMU. Becky was offered several Division I scholarships to play volleyballl, but believed that SMU was the best fit for her. Originally, Becky signed with the University of Houston. However, after the signing, the head coach and assistant coach left the university, so Becky started exploring other options. After a visit to SMU, Becky fell in love. Her mother, an SMU graduate, was also thrilled that Becky enjoyed the school and the coaching staff. We look forward to watching Becky play for SMU for the next four years!

2009 --- Lady Friars Finish the Season as State Finalists
The Lady Friars once again made it to the state championship match, but unfortunately came about 3 points short losing in an extremely close 5 games. "We are of course devastated about the loss, but we are still proud and excited about our awesome season and all of our accomplishments," said Coach Roos. The Varsity team went 41-9 this season with lots of things to be proud of. Great job Lady Friars!
