Take a few minutes to explore our web pages to see the opportunities available for all students; whether you already play a woodwind, brass, or percussion instrument or wish to learn to play and become a part of the Friar Band. Color Guard is an integral component of the band, and is available to all young ladies wishing to be included in an award winning performance team here at BL. Please contact Mr. Owens at the phone number and email listed below for more information.
There are many, many exciting things currently happening within the Bishop Lynch Band Program. From Marching Band to Concert Band to Jazz Band, and even to a Beginning Band Class which is specifically designed for students who have never played an instrument before, there is a place for YOU in the BISHOP LYNCH BAND!
If you are not presently in the Friar Band, and this sounds great to you, and you would like to learn more about being a part the wonderful things taking place within the Band Program, please contact me so that we can talk further about your interest in the BL Band. After just a short introduction to the BL Band, you will soon discover why it is one of the most respected private school band programs in the State of Texas. Additionally, I would love to receive a phone call or email from you. You can be assured that my top priority will be in writing back, calling back, or personally meeting you and telling you why the BL Band is the place for you – so please, don’t hesitate to call, email or come by to visit – I look forward to it!
The goal of the Band program at BL is to give every student a place to achieve excellence, grow as individuals in a Christian environment, make great friends, and make lifelong memories; all while participating in one of the schools finest organization. There is not another place in the world I would rather be than... The Bishop Lynch High School Friar Band!!!!!!
